I’m not a guy who has a “second team,” but if I did, it would be Pittsburgh.  Love the tradition, the blue collar vibes.

The 2010 NFC championship will always be one my biggest sports memories, and not just for all the usual reasons—beating the Bears, punching a Super Bowl ticket.  But the relief of it was so huge for me:  I wouldn’t have to take crap from Bear fan friends forever, and if we didn’t win the Super Bowl, the absolute best possible alternative to me would be losing to Pittsburgh, who I respect.

Like a hot knife through butter.

Perhaps our performance against QB Brett Rypien isn't a very good gauge of where the defense is actually at.

How dare you, you mean the same Brett Rypien who *checks notes*…was immediately released by the Rams after that game, and now resides on Seattle’s practice squad…

So that's what it looks like when the home team's offense has a good game plan and comes out ready to play.

Here in Wisconsin I didn't think that was allowed.

Alexander inactive a week after saying it's the best he's felt in a month.

I swear we have a half a dozen guys that have their own personal injury tent.

great drive and heckuva TD pass

One thing I'll say about Love is that he looks like a completely different QB when he has protection. I guess you could say that about most QBs. That was a great play on both ends by him and Doubs.

Yeah, out of his hand, I thought it was another miss, this time an overthrow, but he put it where only Doubs could get it.  Nice touch.

I agree. Coming out of his hand I thought there's no way anyone comes down in bounds with that.

The refs are so incompetent at their jobs that they signal an interception when Nixon was clearly out of bounds so replay can do their jobs for them.

I think if they're not sure they err on the side where it can be more easily reversed without a challenge, which IMO is the right process.

How were they not sure on that play? Looked pretty obvious live.

I don’t like that it has been so necessary, but the secondary is showing admirable willingness in the running game so far.  Too bad the front seven is blowing chunks.

It starts with the down lineman actually getting out of their stance before the offense is taking three steps.

Talk about slow get off.
