Wow that's bad.

Remember what Yoda said:

"Cubs lead to Cardinals. Cardinals lead to dislike. Dislike leads to hate. Hate leads to constipation."

And now Reed looks hurt ugh.

Our 4th down fakeout game is so weak and never does anything.

It did fake out the announcer for a second lol

I think the idea is we do it enough and we can trick teams by actually snapping it. I don't know that it is a sound strategy though.

Have they ever actually done this? I don't recall them "faking" anyone out with a last second snap.

That one announcer was incredulous that we got called for another delay and I'm sitting there thinking "they were never going to snap the ball you buffoon."

The argument for this nonsense is always "there's nothing to lose" and "maybe they're setting up a fake three years from now".  There is something to lose. The three minutes of my life that I have to watch them stand there for 30 seconds, then they take the penalty, go to a commercial, come back,  punt anyways, and then go to another commercial, when they could have just punted in the first place.

Maybe I can petition the NFL to make clock violations on 4th down a 15 yard penalty and the Packers will stop doing this.

Looks like Joe sure learned some things from seeing his unit get shredded in their last 2 minute drill.

That 3rd down pass was the exact same play as earlier. And if course it had the same result.

it's actually astounding how bad our pass defense is if we don't get pressure

"Dustin Pedroia doesn't have the strength or bat speed to hit major-league pitching consistently, and he has no power......He probably has a future as a backup infielder if he can stop rolling over to third base and shortstop." Keith Law, 2006

Probably would also be helpful to have a #1 cornerback that is available to play games once in awhile.

2nd and 29 and Godwin catches a 25 yard pass with his defender still 5 yards downfield from where he caught the ball.  I know you don't wanna give up a TD, but you also want to at least *try* to deny them field goal range.
