Ohtani controversy

I think what's being  a bit overlooked in this talk like how there should be someone overseeing/double checking this stuff is that the translator was that guy, he seemingly was supposed to be the trusted one all this stuff.

But the last post there does kinda get into where I'd guess some shenanigans went on, which is in the cover up and story after. My guess is still that Ohtani was clueless and the guy put him in a bad spot. Is the story to the public fully true? IDK, seems fishy. Might be some ohtani trying to pay it down first off the radar or something and then it got public and then the cover up stories came in.  If that's the case, IMO that is still nothing to hold against him in any major way.   We'll see, more will come out.  Based on what we've seen so far I'd still guess the translator effed him here putting him in a bad spot that he might not have handled perfectly.

If @wiguy94 was calling Fear the Chorizo irrational, the post would've been block and a warning issued. In reviewing the comment, I believe the "irrational people" was referring to the actions of the interpreter (in the context of @Fear The Chorizo's comment). 

I don't want to derail the discussion down this road, but I did want to clarify why it wasn't blocked.

Calling forum member's names is flatly against the rules.

Well, we all know that he was implying that certain people were irrational, and had nothing to do with the interpreter.  If you look at the posts leading up to his post, he was definitely calling board members irrational.  No biggie, people act like they do, can't control everything.
