This isn't an ad as I don't receive anything from T-mobile.  More of a service to our forum to alert you to a good deal if you use Tmobile.

You have from March 26th to April 2nd to claim your free season of MLB.TV.  This can be claimed in the "T Life" app.

Enjoy!

I don't do much for mobile computing, but this maybe the year I finally break down and get a VPN for the baseball season to take full advantage. Any recommendations for an easy to use low cost option?

In my previous experience, I still wasn't able to play the games through a VPN if I was in the MKE market. Hopefully you have better luck.

I heard (but can't confirm personally) that they block you completely if they detect a VPN.  So I suppose you need a VPN that can randomize their IP addresses so they aren't obviously a VPN.

However, even without a VPN, you should be able to watch away games on MLB.TV.

As long as I resided within the MKE market, it didn't matter where the games were played, I was blacked out from using MLBtv to watch the Brewers.

I thought the Bally Sports App was garbage, but it allowed me to watch every game that was telecast without having a cable subscription. I haven't seen (lazy or otherwise) what's going on in 2024 with Brewers' telecasts.

I don't think it's worth switching to T-Mobile for the free MLB.tv (I have Mint Mobile and pay $15/mo.) but if someone is already a T-Mobile customer it would definitely be worth it to take advantage. You can still stream all radio broadcasts regardless of market and even if you can't watch live games I believe you do get access to watch them once the games have concluded.

For what it's worth, I've been able to use a VPN the last few years to watch Brewers games on there (I live in MKE). Sometimes it doesn't work on the first try, but after switching to a different location and refreshing, it usually works great.

Agreed.  Just a nice bonus if you are already on Tmobile.
