He got a full stadium standing ovation today when they showed him between innings on the Jumbotron.

54th home opener for that guy.

I was listening to the game but didn’t hear anything about his plans.  Did he say anything about his schedule for this year?

I didn't hear anything, but I was listening at work so my attention lapsed at times, so I may have missed something.

Also, from what I remember, he covered the 1st, 2nd, 6th, and 9th innings, although he stuck around at times to banter. I wonder if that reduced workload will be typical going forward.

Not that I heard either, but I may have missed it.  Streaming the replay on mlb.tv was not going well yesterday, I'm not sure if it was on their end or on my internet's end, we had a heck of a blizzard out here on the coast last night.  In any case, I thought Ueck sounded good and in good spirits.  He did talk about how he'd been remaining in contact with team and personnel throughout spring training as well as when they were in NY.  Didn't sound like he was going to be hanging it up.

So glad to hear he will be doing the home opener.  Summer won't be summer when his voice no longer graces the Wisconsin airwaves.  I'm in my mid-40's and his voice on my radio is like a connection back to all of my best summer childhood memories.

I'm right with you.  In my mid-40's and having Ueck on the call as my "soundtrack of summer" is literally all that I know.  I think we can all agree that he's definitely taken a step back with his PBP calling of games over the past 5+ years especially (as you'd expect from someone that is now 90 years old), but man will I miss him greatly when he's no longer around.  The man is a national treasure, and thankfully he's been our treasure for the past 50+ years!

When he stopped going on road trips several years ago, you had the feeling that the end may be near.  Now, with him turning 90 and also cutting back on his home schedule, I really get the sense that the end isn't that far away.  I'm really going to try to make it a point to tune in as many of his calls that I can this summer.
