Feeling good about the start of the game so don’t want to be negative, but I am starting to have serious concerns about Ortiz’s throwing actions from 3rd base. Sometimes those shorter guys end up throwing low from long throes to first, but that throw to Turang just now was way too low for exactly no reason. And the other night was putrid.

That's me. I've been calling for the firing of the hitting coaches the last couple of seasons. But so far this year, they've been great.

I’m seriously starting to get pissed about these throws. It like Contreras said, stop letting De La Cruz and other guys scaring you into bad throws. Especially for a veteran leader like Adames who has a hose.

Coming into tonight the team had a 125 OPS+. 

 

25% Better hitting than league average. 

 

I like the Crew's chances are they keep that up.
