We went two months without a Corbin on the roster.

Was pretty good in the minors (#78/81 on the BA/MLB Top 100s) up until he had TJ in 2019.

Has gotten bombed since then.

See what the pitching dev team can do with him.

Herget went from the major league roster to dfad in a few days.  Did he even throw a pitch?  Pro sports can be rough for those on the edge.

Didn’t throw an MLB pitch. Probably sits for one week, gets claimed by another club and optioned right back to AAA where he’s already been playing.

I love how we do this rotate good arms on the fringe of rosters dance. Most of our bullpen has kind of been these pickups who show enough and work their way into a full time gig. It stink for guys like Herget but it is what we have to do to have an affordable and effective pen.
