Don't get me wrong, I didn't want to pay the price to get him, but that doesn't take away the fact he would have looked good as a Brewer.

Sox are in total rebuild. I'm guessing they would have been interested in some of our outfield depth. The guy is young and healthy. He would have been huge get. Brewers gave Jacob Junis 8 million dollars. 😳

The Padres have had a lot of batted ball luck this series. The Brewers have also been sloppy defensively.

The bullpen is my biggest worry with this team right now. Seems like there's regression from a lot of guys. Hopefully a lot of it is just April and variance, but you've gotta have two of Peguero, Payamps, and Uribe really firing.

There's reason to be concerned re the BP, but my biggest thing there is Williams being out & Uribe apparently not being able to plug into the same role. I feel Peguero, Payamps, Milner could all be in for some regression from last season, but let's not forget what it's a regression FROM. They were all outstanding in '23 & I think they'll all be on the plus side more often than not this year. Being in a position right now where the 8th & 9th are in limbo is what sucks more than anything.

Koenig has looked good so far, and Megill & Bukauskas returning will certainly help.

Curious couple days. Other than 2 good ABs tonite (one where he was robbed) it's been a head scratcher of a series for Contreras w/the glove & at bat. A handful of miscues, and swinging 3-0 in the 1st inning tonight was Adamesian.

Or Wiemerish.

My early vibes on Murphy are good, but I think he's much too liberal with the PHing Dunn for Ortiz thing. Especially in the middle of the game.

The package to acquire 2 seasons of Cease would have been prohibitive and doesn’t fit the timeline and philosophy of this team. 

Patience with this team is a huge virtue and will be rewarded.
