Junis to 60-day IL and other moves

Junis to the 60-day IL. Looks like the combination of injuries got him hard. One of the pitchers we spent on and we lose him after 4 innings pitched. Another awful blow to the rotation. Gasser needs to get here ASAP!

The transfer to the IL does open the door for Herget, who I like more than Junk. Junk also threw almost 40 pitches yesterday so he would have been down for at least today and maybe tomorrow.

Confirmation that Freddy will start serving the suspension.

No. Suspensions for on-field incidents do not allow you to replace the player on the roster while the suspension is being served.

Oh wow, yeah then I can definitely see why they optioned Uribe.  I can't imagine they'll want to go a man down in the pen anytime soon so he can sit in AAA.

Gassers' #'s haven't been very promising so far this year. Just saying. 🤷‍♂️

Really when the 5 games are up its really like just moving Peralta's start back 1 day.

What is up with our rehab (or maybe diagnosing injuries) this year. Yeli was day to day and has been out like 5ish weeks. Junis was maybe 1 or 2 starts and is now going to miss like 1/3 of the season. With all these injuries (and length) do we seriously need to look at how our training/medical staff deals with the players.
