This staff does not have an ace and, if Misiorowski does not get his stuff under control, I don't see one in the minors. Guys like Knoth and Wichrowski have potential, but it is too early to tell

There's an unbelievable amount of pressure on Woody coming back and being a top of the rotation starter for another year or two.

And that's taking an awfully big risk considering his age and that injury.

But they really don't have a lot of options right now do they.

The bench is very weak right now with Roller, Miller, Monasterio and Perkins. Pretty much any pinch hit is going to be a downgrade unless a bench guy is starting. If Murphy puts in his "A" lineup right now he needs to stick with it.

It often feels like Murphy just wants to make moves, whether they make sense or not.  He manages to manage and that is just plain stupid.

You are correct, with this weakass bench, let the starters play.  Perkins and Miller aren't going to out hit any of the starters, stop making moves just to make moves.
