I agree 100% with Adames clubhouse aspect, I didn't even think of that which is huge. 

Remember the Cardinals when Molina and Pujols in 2022 were old and neither could barely run, the Cards were 93-69 that year. The following year after they retired in 2023 they were 71-91. Burns did not bring any of that to the clubhouse because he was a good player but not a leader.

In fact I think that is part of why they brought Rhys Hoskins over here.  For the exact same reason he is well respected in the MLB.

Yet we still keep running him out there in those situations.  :(

I would rather Koenig take on the 8th inning role over Peguero. Peguero is too hard to trust in high leverage situations, and last night was a prime example of it.
