Meeker pitched yesterday and Wednesday. They probably just want a fresh arm for some garbage innings during the weekend. I guess either him or Myers go down on Tuesday morning.

Can't imagine Myers goes down because we wouldn't have a 5th SP if he gets optioned. I'd bet Hernandez gets DFA'd to open a 40-man spot for Rodriguez on Tuesday.

The DL Hall news suck. Especially after he was so close to coming back. I hope he comes back in time for September.

The 60-day is back-dated, so he can still return by June 20th. The chances of that happening seem pretty close to zero, but all this means is his return isn't imminent. Like with Gasser it's just a frustrating wait-and-see thing right now.

That makes sense. I figured we'd see Hernandez for about as long as we saw Meeker, the difference being we may actually see Meeker again.

Yeah I know and its probably more of a roster construction move but it still sucks. This knee thing doesn't sound great. I'm worried that if he pitches through it, as he says he plans to, he will continue to struggle, or worse, aggravate the injury. The PRP injection would keep him out until september

Why? Just keep Meeker up. This is likely a short stay for Elieser as we will need that spot for Carlos on Tuesday.  Elieser had so much promise coming up but has never been able to avoid giving up HRs. I dont see this going well for him.

They have a few days which might buy them enough time to decide if Gasser is headed for the 60 day DL. If he's gone for an extended period of time, Elieser might get a longer look to see what we have in him.

There needs to be a King Thames version of the bible.

The Brewers are starting to rack up the number of times they have sent some guys down, and they can only send a guy down five times in a season now before having to expose him to waivers.  I wouldn't be surprised to see more waiver claims taking up that 13th pitcher spot followed by DFAs in order to cover innings without having to expose players (they like) to waivers.
