Mears has an 84 xFIP- and 134 Stuff+ this year per Fangraphs, which I’m sure the Brewers are looking at before they worry about his ERA

I don’t think the guy with elite stuff and 16 strikeouts to 2 walks is the one I’d want to be taking a victory lap on after 10 innings…

I don't think that's exclusive to us. Given relief pitching is the most volatile position in baseball combined with by definition small sample sizes to determine success it should come as no surprise.

Yep.  Front office hasn't proven they are capable of running a lemonade stand.  Team is a blight on MLB and should be contracted to improve the game

I wonder what you'd say if we weren't in first place and within striking distance of MLB's best record.... after trading away one of last year's ace pitchers and losing another to injury.... while on a shoestring budget.
