If the 2024 Brewer season was a reality TV show, it would definitely end with Murphy proposing to Jake Bauers at the end of the season.

He should have been replaced with another hitter from out front office

How many hitters do we have in the front office? Let's get them in!

I'm thinking Murphy should go to more and more openers based on matchups to see if we can stop bleeding runs in the first inning all the time

Arnold did absolutely nothing to improve the team or our playoff chances and gave up good minor league talent to do it.

Exactly. Like I've said before, and many here lambasted me for saying, Attanasio, the FO, Arnold, Stearns, etc, saying their plan is to "bring a WS championship to Milwaukee", and "they're all in", is nothing but pure gaslighting BS. Always has been. A control tactic to try and keep fans from losing faith, and jumping ship.

When will just making the playoffs, stop being enough to pacify our fanbase?

So you’re onto their perpetual gaslighting, you don’t believe they are trying to win a series, Attanasio isn’t going anywhere, what keeps you coming back?

What keeps me coming back? They're my home state team. If they continue to be incredibly passive at trade deadlines though, while claiming they're "all in", that could change really quick. Nothing like treating our fanbase like we're nothing but a bunch of stupid hicks, who can't figure out that they're gaslighting us.

Simply making the playoffs was enough to pacify me, the first 3-4 times, since they're in the playoffs faily consistently now, that shouldn't be enough to pacify any fan.

Tell me one player that was traded this deadline who would have made a noticeable difference for the Brewers?  Despite a highly active MLB trade deadline, the biggest stars didn't budge.

I remember watching the Brewers teams in the early 2000s. They were bad and hadn't seen playoffs in decades. They couldn't even play .500 ball for over a decade. At the same time Braves fans were complaining that Atlanta could win the East every year but couldn't do anything in the playoffs. I thought to myself that I would be happy to win my division every year even with no playoff success.

I keep having to remember my younger self. It sucks to never have a trophy but we have to enjoy what we do have. I believe the Brewers are working on never having an extended "be bad to rebuild" again and I can appreciate that.

We don't know what star players were being talked about, but just never came to an agreement either. The point is, it's very unlikely our Brewrrs were involved in those talks. The perennial contenders do though, when they say "we're all in". If the price of pitching was that high, then Imaybe they should have loaded up on some bats to jump start our offense again and outscore everyone. But no, they go get reclamation projects again to go "all in".

My main point, is they have a stacked system right now. They should use it!

I'm sure Yelich getting hurt may have had something to do with it, but even if he didn't, it's likely that they still wouldn't have.

You got me there he is having a good season.  Flaherty traded to Dodgers for two prospects. My only reasoning is we can't hang with teams like the Dodgers and Yankees if they want something because there both worth about 7 billion dollars each.
