Nope. Megill. Williams.

If he can get through the 8th you could go Williams, Trevor imo

Given that the DH is a thing, help me understand why Jake Bauers has 327 plate appearances this season and Eric Haase has 58.

I wish someone would ask Skip this question at the press conference.

Likely because the Brewers FO and coaching staff are smart enough to know that Haase is overperforming at the plate and with more playing time would just regress to his actual level. The guy has a 40% K-rate and a .444 BABIP.

As for why Bauers plays over Sanchez who knows.

I’m a little nervous about Megill , throwing straight fast balls to some of these hitters.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Just so we're clear, Jake Bauers' actual level for his career is a well below AAA replacement level player, no regression to the mean needed.

Or at least ask one of his kids to ask Dad.

Exactly. It's not really even a debate.

Bauers has an 84 career wRC+ compared to Haase's 87. They are very similar level hitters. Sanchez is the guy who should be getting more DH AB's with Haase filling in at backup catcher.

What about the season wRC+?

Watching Harper and Bauers hit and there is no way they both play in the same league.

You’re annoying

That literally goes back to what I said earlier about the Brewers knowing Haase isn't remotely a 155 wRC+ hitter...
