Obviously retaining hook is a priority. I could see changes in the staff for Murphy to bring in his guys.

You love to see LeBoeuf get the promotion. He has been an incredible soldier for the organization. 

Quite the career trajectory for Theisen! Incredible. He has only been with the Brewers for three years. The quintessential 'fast riser'. For those of you who don't know his background - or the fact he was an assistant hitting coach at Nashville last season - here's a nice write-up from back in 2021. What a story.

I also think retaining Hook is a no-brainer but I will say that people thought the world was gonna end when Derek Johnson left to become pitching coach for the Reds and the world still exists.

Plus the Reds haven't finished higher than 3rd place in the standings since 2012. With only one recent playoff appearance where they were swept by the Braves in a 2 game wild card series in the 2020 COVID season.

they made Counsell the highest paid manager, I am sure they will throw a ton of cash at Hook. He has a good track record of turning waiver claims or retreat players into more than serviceable. With the price of pitching he is worth his weight in gold.
