Biggest 3rd down of the game. Lets not give the ball to the all pro running back

Jacobs was hurt trying to walk something off on the sideline, but he obviously didn't learn anything from the bears game where he did the exact same thing.

He got his ankle twisted on the tackle near the sideline.

The quality drops off fast. Honestly, I don't know why they think so much of Melton.

I mean I think he is fine for a WR#5.

Oh great and now a flag

Well, I was about to complement Slaton on his play today and that happens.  However, this might be his best game of the season.

"Rock, sometime, when the team is up against it, and the breaks are beating the boys, tell 'em to go out there with all they got and win just one for the Uecker. I don't know where I'll be then, Rock but I'll know about it; and I'll be happy."

That was a play where Jacobs would’ve probably been better just to take the first down gain and go out of bounds. Love his toughness, but game situation also matters.

I don’t know, football player got dinged making a football play. He has rare toughness and tenacity, and that’s a tone-setting mentality. I don’t want him to change a thing.

I don't care what the record says, you can't convince me they're better than last year.

Better defensively but that's it.

Fair point. Probably the better thinking. But seeing all the other playmakers being out, the team couldn’t afford to lose any more. Still doesn’t explain the subsequent play calling.
