A 24 to 30 hr+ round trip to Japan and back I sure wouldn't want to do and that is just the time in the air without all the other delays.

I enjoyed having real games an extra week ahead of the schedule, but golly I'd never want the Brewers to do this. Having to get up in the middle of the night to watch Opening Day would suck

In a vacuum it's cool, but logistically it's weird.  Having spring training and then some live games and then more spring training feels wrong.  Plus, it didnt seem like the pitchers had enough time to be ready.  Not to mention game times are a nightmare for most fans.

But stuff in Mexico, DR, Puerto Rico, etc are much easier.  Even the UK isn't that difficult.  I think most of them have been done and didn't get near the attention or success as this one did, for kind of obvious reasons with all the Japanese players on the teams.    I guess while they currently have two homeless teams in TB/Oak it would be a good time to schedule some of their 'home' games in places like that and see what happens.
