Hopefully this Patrick pans out this year.   I have no faith in woodruff being a meaningful pitcher for us.    The guy has been out forever.    When does the definition change from having a contract to play baseball to just welfare for the woodruff family

If we get to 5-5 with this starting rotation - that is quite impressive 

I hope we are a .500 team at the end of April 

I like the “spunk” of this team & I’m confident Contreras, Yelich, & Ortiz will rebound offensively 

Not sure this is a 93 win team, but the Brewers should be competitive all season if they can get healthy

Agreed. The decision to not call him up last year may have been a mistake.

Minor League Baseball announced today that Chad Patrick has been named International League Pitcher of the Year as part of the 2024 Triple-A All-Star Teams and League Awards. The individual award winners were determined in a vote by club managers.

Patrick led all of Triple-A with a 2.90 ERA, 14 wins and 145 strikeouts to win the pitching Triple Crown. He is just the third pitcher in International League history (since its modern inception in 1912) and first since Dennis Martínez with Rochester in 1976 to lead the league in those three categories.
