Oh Mis... you set the bar a bit too high in your first start. If you come back and you somehow meet that...well, that'll be hard to do.

If you're a bit wild and maybe Tucker gets ahold of one...well, no way Brewers Twitter overreacts to that!

I was advocating keeping him in AAA because I wanted him to just get a full season in, get that command(or at least control) improved along with the change, but now that you're up, I just can't wait.

Just a glimpse of what's to come.

Wouldn't HATE if Logan Henderson was throwing as well, but... patience.

The Cubs are champing at the bit to knock Misiorowski off the pedestal he’s been placed on since Thursday’s start. We can  expect a much different approach at the plate than the Cards gave him.  Although unlikely, I really hope our offense can give him some early run support so he doesn’t think the world is resting on his shoulders.

This is a win I am filin' because we get to hit against Taillon!

Jacob Misiorowski is Wisconsin's new Dan Majkowski!

He is magic!

The Cubs are tragic!

I dunno. The leap that Misiorowski has taken in recent weeks has been pretty impressive. I'm not sure passivity is the answer for beating The Miz that we saw in the debut. The thing is, is that the Miz we saw in the debut is the same guy that has been dominating AAA so far this year, so I'm not sure why we would expect a big drop-off, in terms of stuff or for that matter, control.

I'm sure teams (especially a Counsell-led Cubs offense) will gameplan with the idea of just getting ONE guy on, and then trying to do damage while Les Miz is working out of the stretch. That could mean seeking contact early in the count.

Rained Out.

And instead of doing a doubleheader tomorrow it's now a doubleheader in August while the Brewers are in the middle of an 18 games in 18 days stretch. Now 19 games in 18 days. Ridiculous.

With the split doubleheader now set for August 18 that series at Wrigley will be 5 games.

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

Well, that's one way for the Cubs to avoid facing Misiorowski for now. Get'em tomorrow. What an absolute garbage late spring / early summer so far.
