Interesting that we wasted uribe last night so he can’t close tonight?

A win is not a waste my friend.

Eh, I see it more like the Angels had the top of the order up in the 8th, so you go to your best arm.

He's clearly available tonight as he's in the game.  Made sense for him to face the heart of the order here in the 8th.  Not sure how we wasted anything last night as long as he was still available tonight.

And he pitched to the better part of the order.

Kenley is 37. He's been at this a good long time.

I think he was one of the Little Rascles.  LOL

My bad.   I missed that.  I thought he was out

He had some good years with the Dodgers.  It looks like he uses his delivery to mess with the timing of the hitters.

Good sign from a manager like Murphy, who has a tendency to stick to "roles" with his player usage, that he's shown some willingness to look for the highest leverage opportunity with his best/better relievers lately.

He used to bore the hitter by taking four minutes between pitches.  Did well adjusting to the pitch clock.

Rule for the rest of season.    Ok Murphy if you want to play Ortiz for defense.   I understand.   But you have to take him out when the bases are loaded.   No exceptions.    Those are game changing at bats

Right right right....and even more right in playoffs

Whos not?

I guess I mean easily hittable at times. He gives up a lot. Although at times he's sharp as a tack. I would not put in him high leverage situations.
