To my knowledge, the Brewers have never used "Milwaukee" on a powder blue jersey, making these likely to be road uniforms. The block font is a throwback, but only to jerseys that read "Brewers" in the 1970s and 1980s. Milwaukee was typically written in a script font, not dissimilar to the current dark blue jerseys worn on the road.

I think you missed the obvious.  Look at the road uni's from the '82 World Series.  From 1978-1984, the road powder blue jerseys had "Milwaukee" on them.  See the links below.

This long-time fan's thoughts (old man yelling at cloud, perhaps)...

The gray jersey's going away.  I don't like that.  The nostalgia for powder blue?  Yuck.  I lived through that era and was so, so glad when then finally went away -- such a needed change! -- and I'd still prefer that it never come back (too late now)!  The gray look was more "classic" whereas most things rooted in the '70s trends were seen as being pretty dated and otherwise ugly at the time (though to me, the Expos' switch to home pinstripes and road grays was a step backwards and a desecration of one of the coolest uniforms ever).

Starting with the unveiling of the 1994 uniforms at BrewerFest, I've always loved the navy blue alternate jerseys the best until the current one.  The weird font & the yellow piping to me are awful.  I wish they'd just used the same font/wordmark as on the other jerseys.

My favorite Brewers uniforms ever were the prior set, used from 2000-2019.  Classic, classy, & timeless.  The M/barley logo was clever and classy.  To me, their only shortcoming was not permanently using the brilliant, cool, & classy MB/ball-glove/WI-outline logo on one sleeve while using the M/barley logo (of course in navy & gold) on the other. . . . Other than maybe the current home pinstripe uniforms, nothing in the current uniform set is better than the 2000-2019 uniforms.  When the current uniforms were unveiled for 2020, they were nothing short of a major disappointment for me.  They screwed with what I thought was perfection and, overall, I thought the results stunk.

This old man (in my 50s anyway) likes this powder blue jersey. Going with gray pants is odd but I also am ok not having the whole thing powder blue, not sure what else really would be better for the pants. The regular road grays are fairly dull imo, I'm good with replacing those..

I'm with you on the powder blue jersey with gray pants.  Seems weird, like mismatched pajamas.  But the thought of powder blue pants seems like a worse idea (the Rangers' all-powder-blue alt's a few years ago seemed awful, and I think the Royals' & Rays' powder blues work better with not-powder-blue pants), and I suspect the powder w/ gray look will grow on me at least somewhat.

Full powder blue unis are gross.  WAY too dated for my liking.

I'm glad they are not going that route, but I don't think the jersey will look that bad with the gray bottoms.  If they must go with the powder blue jersey, then the white pants would probably look the best.

I guess I'm in the minority and don't like powder blue pants? It's just too much. Colored jerseys and pants matching like some of these teams City Connects have been scream highschool girls softball to me.

It's sad road grays sell the worst for baseball, Nike has been trying to get rid of them for years by making the 4 jersey rule. They have always been my favorite.

I like the Navy Alts, I like the modern take on the classic Milwaukee script. I just wish it fit in more with our other jerseys we currently wear.

Since these are being characterized as alternate road jerseys, I'd think the odd jersey out, so to speak, is the navy with the gold script Milwaukee.  I'll miss that style if it is in fact phased out.

I also can't fathom why they'd pair the new jersey with gray pants, unless that's somehow a MLB or Nike issue.

I'm pleased to be wrong in this case (about these new jerseys replacing the navy).

When I was just about getting ready to get a gray jersey, they are now obsolete.  That didn't last very long.

Robin egg-blue tops with gray pants?  A bad look.

I've always liked the navy, but the current version doesn't do it for me.
