Nadal had yet to debut in 2026, placed on Wilson's Development List to begin the season. He had been a multi-position player since making his DSL debut in 2022 as his fielding page will show. Nadal missed all of 2024 with an undisclosed injury. He'll turn 22 in July. We wish the speedy-but-not-always-efficient basestealer well moving forward.

INF Andrew Vaughn assigned to Nashville on Major League Rehab (#57)

I was just coming here with a note on this. The January 2023 international class is not aging well, though there are players that could emerge still (though longshots).

Via MLB.com that January:

The club has agreed to deals with outfielder Yophery Rodríguez, the No. 22 overall prospect on the Top 50 International Prospects list, for $1.5 million; shortstop Filippo Di Turi, who ranks No. 33, for $1.3 million; and No. 35 Kevin Ereu, a shortstop, for $1.4 million. 

No doubt Quinn Priester's successful run thus far can be attributed partially to the value Rodriguez provided.

Ereu, in two DSL seasons and one in Maryvale, could only muster a combined .183/.346/.249 line (.595 OPS) with a 25.6 K% vs. rookie-level pitchers. He committed 21 errors in 81 games when stationed up the middle on the infield.

A surprise, only in that is very rare for the Brewers to release a Latin American signing after just one pro season, even when there are significant struggles.

Signed in January 2025 out of the Dominican Republic, De La Rosa spent six weeks on the IL at midseason, otherwise appearing in only 22 games with a respectable .720 OPS that was buoyed by seven HBP's. Eight of De La Rosa's 17 hits went for extra bases, as he split time between first base and designated hitter (one game at third base).

This may be a situation where there is more to the story - it's unfair and presumptive, but one-year releases are so rare in recent years.
