It really can't be that surprising that we lost the last 2 games with those line-ups we threw out there.

Look at that OF, hell, look at that IF.

Turang is going to have to get better, and we seriously need Chourio back for this line-up to have any chance at sustaining success.

I'm sure this has already been mentioned but omg with all of the walks.  We must lead the league or be close in walks given up.  It's driving me nuts.

This is my takeaway as well.  The players expected to probably be bad are mostly on par with career norms.  Rengifo was bad last year and hasn't reverted to career norms.  Need returns from injuries and some progression of the pipeline.  

I expect Rengifo to revert to his norms. So far no dice, but I'm not going to jump off a bridge over his first 38 PAs or whatever it is. We'll see.

So just going to point out... 8-4 is a pretty good first 12 games.  If you'd have told me we'd lose Priester, Chourio and Vaughn before game 1 and we'd open 8-4 I'd have been pretty damn happy with that.

Only four teams in franchise history with more than eight wins through 12 games. 
1976, 1987, 2014 and 2024.

This is one of the best ever starts to a season
