I feel like this should be gut check time for Wisconsin. They’re too talented to lose 5 of 7 at home to Peoria.

Down 3-2 in the bottom of the 5th in this game, with Fischer and Adamcewski leading off the bottom half.

Wisconsin is now up 4-3 as 3 walks and an Eric Bitonti single produced 2 runs.

Chandler Welch enters for the 6th inning.

Down 3-1 entering the bottom of the 7th inning, Cooper Pratt and Luis Lara delivered back-to-back hard-hit singles to start a 3-run rally. Nashville’s now up 4-3.

Andrew Fischer’s 15th homer is a solo shot. Wisconsin’s up 5-3.

We enter June tomorrow, which usually sees some promotions mid-month. Gotta figure Fischer will be in Biloxi soon.

Looks like Jared Koenig worked a scoreless fifth inning for the Sounds as well in his second rehab appearance.

15 pitches, 11 for strikes.
