No you are right Chourio is basically a cross between Buxton in the field and prime Ricky Henderson on the bases.

There's the hyperbole. You know absolutely nobody said that.

Be ready for him to mention how everyone told him he was wrong any time Chourio doesn't have a good moment the next few weeks like he did with Mitchell when I said Mitchell didn't need to pick it up.

Yeah and then you disappeared for weeks because I was right. Now that he has glad to see you resurface from the basement.

I didn't disappear at all. Mitchell had a 115 wRC+ when you made that comment at has a 119 wRC+ after tonight. He's basically been the same level player all season with some hot and cold streaks mixed in.

Yes playing college ball gives me zero baseball knowledge outside my coach. Insane.

I'm sure we have heard of you. 😆

The offense has gone dead at a bad time.

Could be a difficult week.

I don't think I'd use the term "going dead" to describe a two-game stretch immediately after beating Christopher Sanchez & Gavin Williams within the previous three games. Of course you have Sale going tomorrow, so all isn't lost😉.

Eleven hits tonite. The RISP is what failed them.

You cried and asked me to leave it alone and I did. The conversation we were having didn't include you so why jump in? Because you don't have any dishes to do?

Never claiming I was any great player.

You're flailing right now man, and it's getting kind of embarrassing.

What is all of this talk about Chourio being rushed???!!!!!!!

No he was not rushed.JPG

Just anger resurfacing in different ways. The subject of the anger doesn't matter - some folks just need the release. Attacking Chourio both yesterday and today is an odd choice but I'm glad they have the outlet.

You saying you played college baseball so therefore your opinion is more valid than mine is as sad as it gets bro. I played legion does that count?

Total strawman. No one said this. You're flailing man, attacking people, and it's embarrassing.

Genuine question - why do you manufacture arguments against positions that you know not a single person has tried to make as last resorts in debates?

It doesn’t establish credibility. It does the opposite. You know full well what’s been said and what’s not been said.

Thing is, I probably agree with a lot more of your posts than most others. So what is the problem with just genuinely looking at facts presented to you rather than digging in your heels and just dishing out passive aggressive strawman arguments?

You took the position that someone who had a better rookie season by WAR than Ryan Braun, Prince Fielder, and Rickie Weeks combined, was rushed up to the bigs.  Based on a great play by the Braves, and nothing rational. You were rightfully presented opposing rational arguments on why that wasn’t the case. But instead of listening to anyone you just dug in and chose to die on the hill.

That is not what you said. You're doing it again where you change what you said after the fact to act like people were attacking you. You said he was rushed to the show.

Lol I didn't say this. More hyperbole. You're quite literally the one that said I "know nothing about baseball other than sitting on my couch".

I guess this is what you need to resort to when you have no facts. Sad.

Like I said in my next post a significant problem with the offense has been that too many hitters (including some in the heart of the order) are struggling. .

On the homestand the Brewers scored an unusually high percentage of their runs on home runs, and that isn’t  usually their strength. A poor percentage with RISP is the numerical evidence of not being able to string hits together

Note: If I raise something as a POSSIBILITY that does not mean that I EXPECT it to happen.

My position was because of his superior bat they decided to let him work on small holes here. In a perfect world he would have been a more finished but it made sense. That all. He is truly a great bat first player who will be a star. Lots of young players show up not finished due to circumstances. That all. I respect your knowledge. Rushed probably not right word more liked pushed. How about that.

Rushed probably not correct word. More like pushed. Fast tracked

The last two games that's been the story. Combined three for 23 I believe.

Yes, I agree with a lot of this. He has small holes and they are willing to let him work through that because the current player and the player from the last two seasons is still really, really good.

In fact I think the fact that he is still has some imperfections at 22 tells you how great his upside really is and it’s exciting to think what he’ll be doing at 25.

The irony is his biggest hole has to do with his bat in his swing decisions.

Yes against one playing his fourth game.  There's a reason changeups are mostly used against opposite handed hitters.  You use a changeup as a RHP to a RHH and it moves right into the hitters wheelhouse..  Just look at his splits this year.  .525 OPS allowed vs RHB, .345 vs LHB.

Suarez is a hard thrower that has an excellent changeup. That's a tough combo, and Murphy felt like Frelick was a better choice there. I disagreed mildly; you disagree totally. Cool. As for using the change R vs R, you see that all the time.

The splits for Suarez are interesting though. Effective either way, but interesting.

Agree 💯 I wasn't bashing him in the least. More a credit to his talent. Made will show up and have small warts as well.

Wouldn't squeezing one of those rubber balls be more effective?
