It's not the same pitch mix, but Perry reminds me of Braylon Owens a bit. He's a big dude, with a pretty deep pitch mix and pitches with some fire on the mound. Big time competitor it seems.

That would be awesome if we saw anything similar. As you know, I love how Owens competes.

Kruzan is an Ashland, Wisconsin native. Had a very nice JR season for the Gophers, sporting a 1.082 WHIP and over a K/inning.

Man, that Ashland/Bayfield area rules. Such an incredible geographic location.

Kruzan has some Holobetz to him. Had heard this name as a possible 7-10 guy, believe he was actually roommates with Isaac Morton, who I know the Brewers liked. Bummer he wound up with the Cubs. Think the fact Morton just had TJS after the season hurt him in the Brewers' eyes a bit.

Very stoked about the Carson Hart pick. He was on my short list of possible high schoolers as he checked  a lot of boxes that the Brewers like. Still 17, good all around athlete, great speed and outfield defense, promising bat. This is a terrific selection!
