Quite the cliff-hanger opening paragraph in the Shuckers post-game report:

Fifth player in Biloxi Shuckers franchise history? Which current Shucker is the 1st?!

Tantalizing! 🤭

Haha, that's funny. I did see O'Rae stole his 40th base tonight... I have to imagine that is it.

I need a software update in my brain. "Matos" currently still auto populates to "Luis" in my mind and I don't want that to be the case. Thank you for declaring "Blue" and "DSL" in your follow up because I would have been looking up Nashville numbers to figure out what I have been missing...

Good to know I wasn't the only one.........🤔.

40th stolen base. per the box score.   Does O'Rae have a chance to make it to Milwaukee down the line?

Congrats to one of this season's most pleasant surprises:

RHP Cameron Wagoner brings his goods to Nashville and the International League.

Correspondingly, after a season of struggle, RHP Will Childers heads back to Biloxi.

Seeing as how he's 25 (and has been throwing the ball really well), I was wondering/hoping Wagner would see Nashville soon. It's so easy to pull for guys who had the long health-related setback. Go get 'em, Cam!!!!

I might be a touch premature but I'm ready for B Ebel to be in Appleton. His numbers have only climbed after about the 5th week of the year. Shove all of the shortstops in the system up a peg.

I think I would give Pena a week just to find some consistency hopefully. But I would be 100% good with Made to Nashville, Pena to Biloxi, Ebel to Appleton, and probably Hughes to Wilson tomorrow. That would also allow Trey Ebel a little time in Arizona before the season ends at the end of July (maybe to Wilson at the end of year).

CJ Hughes is running a 43.8 K% on the Complex.

Out of 1,563 minor leaguers with at least 150 PA this year that ranks 1,556th.

Might be a candidate to repeat Arizona if he can't bring that down quite a bit.

Brady got 16 games / 66 PA in Carolina after signing in 2025, would guess the plan is similar for Trey this year to get some exposure to Wilson after a brief stay on the Complex.

They kept Chourio in Biloxi through the end of the season and I expect them to do the same with Made.

As a side note, I'd love to see a comparison of Made's AA season through 77 games against Chourio's first 77 games in AA. I'd guess Chourio hit for more power but Made has been more consistent overall.

Made (350 PA)
274/349/439 (108 wRC+)
10.3 BB% | 14.9 K%

Chourio (351 PA)
269/322/441 (98 wRC+)
6.6 BB% | 20.2 K%

Not quite a one to one comparison as Chourio had to deal with the experimental pre-tacked baseballs they used for the first half of 2023 before switching back to regular balls in the second half (which more or less coincided with Jackson's July surge that year).
