All the talk about pitching is kinda missing the point. This team can't score consistently. I know some stat will say otherwise but the eye test is not being passed imo

I would agree with this to a degree, you can always get better and the goal should be to maximize what our pitching can do. Elite pitching is probably the best way to make up for our lack of offense. With that said, the offense needs to be better in order for this team to compete in October. As it is currently performing it will not. The season long production numbers show that they have a good offense, but the issues with batting with RISP and men on 3B with less that 2 outs over the past month or so are troubling.

Anytime Hamilton has a guy on base he should be bunting period. Maybe he hets on maybe they make an error. I want the runner moved. Unacceptable to let him hit. Play into his skills

He's not even a great bunter considering how much he does it.

Weird thing about Miz is that if you had shown me this kind of outing late last year, I would have been thrilled. He's been incredibly efficient (something he's done well throughout the season). If he can just pitch to contact a little bit, he becomes, basically, one of the best in baseball history (assuming health). He's done that today, but the risk is you give up the one big swing.

Offense going to have to pick him up. They've been the issue today, even as Urena has been very good.

They alluded to this on the broadcast, but Miz is bothered by the landing area on the mound today. This has happened in other away games, too. And as I typed this, it became apparent again.

if Brewers were down 1-0, I’d be more confident. Down 2-0, I lack confidence. I’d hate to see Misiorowski pitch this well & Brewers lose such a winnable game. The Angels are not a good team. We need a sweep.

I had to capture the moment where we have 2 ABS challenges when the other team has 0 because this may never happen again, and I also managed to get a Chourio hit

Don’t know about proof, but virtually every pitcher who throws hard ends up having Tommy John surgery sooner or later.

But the more hits he gives up, the more total pitches he throws.  He still had go get the outs that inning with his fastball.  The cutters for hits were just extra pitches.

This game is why you can add Skubel all you want. If he loses 2-1 what's the difference? Keep all the young bats you can.

This has been my perspective all along

I expect them to win 3-2.

My gosh I am so sick of Wild Bill today. Had a chance for 1st and 2nd, 1 out and he hacks at ball 4 for a double play to end the inning.

Just crazy to have Bauers sitting around watching Contreras hit right now. Murphy needs to get it together. How hard is making out a lineup?

With this particular team Jake Bauers should not be hitting 5th. Sorry

Hes been their best hitter most of the year.  I agree, your best hitter doesnt hit 5th.  Though I dont think Murphy has made a lineup with Yelich of Contreras hitting below 4th.

Chourio has at least shown some flashes lately but Contreras is just brutal right now. He is killing our offense.
