How in the hell did we chase this guy in the 1st inning last year?

That was when Vaughn was still in his Thank God I'm out of Chicago stretch.

Lockridge at least can hit one out once in awhile. More than Lara can do.

Idk what this is based on, but not reality.

Lockridge has 1 HR in 239 MLB ABs and 6 AAA HRs in 677 ABs. Lara had 9 HR in 287 AAA ABs and so far 0 in 74 MLB ABs.

Lockridge has literally never hit a homerun in a Brewer uniform and had one singular HR as a Padre back in 2024

Spring Trining must not count

We cannot keep trotting Contreras out there every day.

Why Pancake keeps Contreras in the lineup is a mystery. He's 0 for his last 19 ABs and 5 for his last 44 ABs.  He needs serious bench time to get his head right.  Mitchell goes down looking once again. You would think the coaching staff could tell him to be more aggressive with two strikes. Churio too whiffs again. 5 whiffs out of 9 outs. Two whiffs with RISP. That's getting all too familiar lately.

So can Randy Wolf.

Lockridge was a beast before he got hurt. Where is he? Murphy gave Tyler Black 50 undeserved at bats.

There’s two backwards K’s for Mitchell. He’s such a disappointing watch. Has finally stayed healthy and appeared to be breaking out in June only to go into a total tailspin since then.

I really wonder if the brewers lean into too much analysis/guessing at pitches in at bats.     Just a flat iit guess on my part but they really look bad in at bats game to game

Obviously not close to the same thing, but he showed some pop in Spring training at least. Idk, I'd pay big money to have a team with some slug. The brewers don't seem interested in it though(I dont want to hear about the guys in the minors, they are of no help to the major league club right now).

Perhaps Murphy realized that an 88 season OPS+ from a 72 OPS+ career player is in fact not that beastly.

I agree … but he did hit HRs in a Brewers uniform was my point

Vinny Capra was quite the spring training beast in a Brewer uniform as well.

Great suggestion … maybe Capra can be signed to play IF while all our guys are on the IL

Must be nice to just schedule your star players for days off and limit your postseason starting pitchers to like 100 innings and still easily win your division and be in the running for best record in baseball.

Really ? It seems pretty mild other than the surprise reappearance of the Melvin rants.
