"Eight-one [wins] is not the hump. Eighty-two is the hump, and we've got two games to do it." -- manager Ned Yost

The Brewers' goal this season was not .500. It was to win.

With eight wins in their last 11 games, they are in position to do just that. Friday's come-from-behind win over the Pirates ensured the franchise's first non-losing season since 1992, and a win in either of their final two games will mean a winning season.

Tomo Ohka will take the mound with that in mind on Saturday night. He has been better on the road this season, both before and after his trade from Washington to Milwaukee. Ohka has a 3.86 road ERA and opponents are batting 42 points less (.246) when Ohka is away from home.

Pirates starter Kip Wells is 1-9 with a 6.79 ERA since the All-Star break including 0-4 in five September starts with a 10.01 ERA. Opponents batted .333 against him in September.

Command problems have hampered Wells throughout the season. In addition to being the only pitcher to lose 18 games, the right-hander also leads all National League hurlers with 95 walks in 175 1/3 innings.

We need to get this game! We don't want to leave it up to Vic on Sunday to give us a winning record.

Prediction:

Brewers- 6

Pirates- 3

EDIT:

A Brewers win along with a Nationals, Mets, and Marlins loss will put the Crew in a tie for 3rd in the wild card.

Does anyone know if this game can be watched on MLB TV? Neither the Brewers nor the Pirates are carrying it.

Yes, the game is going to be televised on MLB.TV. They use the stadium cams or the stadium feed. The same feed that people walking in the stadium see on those stadium tv's when you go walking around while at the game.

Generally, they use the home teams radio feed for the audio.

Groan, I don't like the looks of a Hardyless lineup.

Guess that's a challenge to Rickie and the Muscle to prove me wrong.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

With the Cubs loss today the Crew has clinched sole posession of 3rd place in the NL Central. If you are going to get out of the cellar, might as well get WAY out of it http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Will the game be on MLB.tv even if you are in the black out zone? Or do they make exceptions since the game is not on in Pittsburgh or Milwaukee?

I wouldn't mind paying the $4 to watch this one.

Yep, the game should be on everywhere.

Although I've just got a test pattern for the moment http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Edit: There we go. Game on!

Well, I just wasted $4. Says I am blocked because I am in Milwaukee's Black Out Zone. The game isn't on TV why would they black me out. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/mad.gif

I'm watching it on MLB.TV cause I go to college in Evanston... but is it me or is Bill Hall one of the worst 0-2 hitters ever. He chases ANYTHING.

This sucks. The only reason I can't get the game is because I actually live in the state of the team I root for. I know it is uncommon for people to cheer for the local team, but throw me a frickin' bone here.
