Can't believe no one has started a thread yet. This the first time I've started a game thread. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif I'm so excited because of the way the crowd was crazy last night in the 7th inning when Lee K'd. GO CREW!

TV/RADIO

The Brewers will once again be on FSN North. If you would rather listen to the brewers tune in to the crew on the milwaukee brewers radio network.

Prior's first start versus the Crew this year. (2-2, 3.86 in 7 career starts)

Ohka is 1-1 career vs. Cubs with a 7.36 era including yielding five runs and nine hits in 6 2/3 innings of a 5-4 loss on June 20.

The Crew holds an 8-6 lead in the season series, including a 6-2 edge at Miller Park

I would like to see Jeff Cirillo start at third base tonight. I think his batting approach will work better against Mark Prior compared to Branyan and Hall.

hope to see as much excitement as was there last night on TV

You and I both. Preferably the (real) home fans will be more excited. C'mon guys!

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

if it is anything like it was last night(which i think it will), should be great. It was nice to be at a brewers/cubs game and have more brewer fans than cub fans.http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

Breaking News: A plane in LA is trying to land with damaged landing gear. It's all over cable news. This is pretty scary.

Not all is lost since Prior is at 67 pitches thru 3 innings.

Good job:

Third inning: # of pitches

Clark- 4

Hardy- 4

Overbay- 9

Lee- 5

Jenkins- 4

Hall- 4

Unfortunately this is going to be a problem next year when Overbay is gone. Sometimes you need a player to work the pitcher and next year with O gone and Brady phased out who will do it?

I think Clark will play plenty, Weeks and Hardy both take a ton of pitches, as does Fielder. The young guys are our most patient hitters.

If this team was just *average* defensively, there's no way a run scores last inning. Between Jenkins not being able to get to that one (injury), Weeks not making the play on Murton's hit, and Miller not putting out Burnitz at the plate, you'd think we could have made ONE of those plays. Now, we're losing because the pitcher has 2 RBIs. It's hard to win these games.
