30136 is awfully low for a Cubs series. Probably a combination of the time of year, and the fact that they are a pretty crappy $100 Mil team.

Could be a midweek thing too, but I agree that the back to school thing probably plays a factor.

Barrett can't tell the difference between hitting a ball and having it hit the dirt in front of him

I guess not everyone is as enthralled by the battle for 3rd place as we here at Brewerfan. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/ohwell.gif

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

Great win by the Brewers.

What I learned:

DD is a strikeout pitcher for sure.

Rickie can hit.

T-Bow is nasty, even if he spends a lot of time tucking his jersey into his pants before pitching to hitters.

Billy Hall can play third base.

Derek Lee looks good in a sombrero.

Matt Murton has six homers right now. Just one behind Nomar.

I've also renewed my distaste of Beefeater Bob and his piggy sideburned mother. I've never eaten at a Prime Quarter steakhouse soley because of that sickening commercial.

I am sure Ron Santo probably had a heart attack when Lee whiffed with the bases loaded again.

I would have loved to hear his reaction on WGN. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/laugh.gif

Well, it would have been similar to the noise from:

Two of the best things in the world rolled into one ball of fun:

1.Cubs lose

2. Brewers win

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."
