The Brewers always seem to hit Valdez well. The problem has always been scoring off him. 5 hits and just 1 run in two innings has me concerned.

yes sir we are killing in on the hits, bad luck it is not how baseball games are scored.... we are on pace for 21 hits yielding three runs.

All optimism. We've been hitting the ball all over. The three outs in the Second inning were all Fly balls to the warning track. The offense has been good and I don't see that stoping today at the hands of Valdez

55 pitches for Valdez in just 3 IP though. It looks like we will have at least a couple of innings of middle relief to score some runs on. In other pitch count news Livan Hernandez 105 in 6 innings for the Nats. Maybe he goes 150 today.
