we didn't make that one easy, but, hey, if that is the only way we can win a road game, I'll take it...and we're in trouble.......and I need better health coverage

It didn't matter, but why would you slide feet-first into first base? I thought that was kind of funny.

Whew.

I'll take it, but it should have been a CG for Ben.

As far as the rundown, not watching the game hurts, but I think the split-second decision had to be made to go after Pierre. If a guy drops the ball...if Castillo slides hard...if someone makes a bad throw...ugh. And we've had enough dropped balls and bad throws to make it at least a possibility.

Ned pulled all the right strings to scratch out a win. If the Brewers blow this one, he would have got criticized like never before.

so ben is throwing a 2 seamer now, despite what daron and bill say?

ben mentioned having to convince moeller his slider was working?

Yeah, Ben mentioned that he was forcing Moeller to call curves again....

And I agree that the Delgado ball to Overbay should have been a game-ending double play.

Cubs losing 3-0. Makings of a great 4th of July!

I was actually rooting for the cubs to win http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/sick.gif . We are chasing the Braves for the wild card... I can't believe I just said i was rooting for the cubs. Doy. I guess I wanted both the Braves and the Cubs to lose. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/happy.gif

Not to bring up yesterday's game again, but had we won we'd be a half game out of second place.

Son of a.....!

Still, great to win today. This was the type of game that the Brewers seem to lose 99 out of 100 times. I swear tonight's game was like a replay of past games @ Florida, only in the old games LoDuca doesn't drop the ball and Delgado doubles home the winning runs. Nice to be on the other side of some breaks for once.

On a more somber note, Rickie's 0-4 today broke his three game HR streakhttp://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

-I hope I can point things like this out many times in the future! Way to go Rickie!
