Good. We need a fight to wake some of our guys up.

 

Yeah, because nothing says 'wake up' like a round of five game suspensions.

 

I highly doubt Cappy would be dumb enough to intentionally put an extra baserunner on first when the wind is blowing out and a guy that homered in his last AB coming up.

Is it just me, or does Mitre's picture on gameday look like they put facial hair on him (maybe to make him look older) with photoshop? Looks way to clean to be real.

Again, we are seeing a mental shortcoming in this team. We are, I think 0 for 6 with RISP since the intial onslaught. We could/should have a 3 run lead easy... we give one back on an error and we refuse to cash in just ONE for the last six chances.

 

This team is amazingly weak mentally. Just look at how we are still scoring more runs overall then the other teams. And yet we hover so, so far down in the standing.

 

Win or lose this game, the guys are showing the same weak-kneed, baby performance.

It's their Pavlovian reflex for whenever they hear the crack of the bat (as long as a cub is holding the bat).
