Hennessey will be making his sixth start since being summoned from the minors in August. In his previous five starts, he made it through five innings only twice. Opponents are batting .337 against him.

 

What a pathetic performance in this series, capped by today's mess. I only caught glimpses of Gameday at work, but the boys seem to have lowered the bar once again for the season.

I will say that Matt Wise should be protected on the 40-man during the offseason. He'll be another year removed from Tommy John and could be the guy to jump in if/when Lil' Ben and/or JDLR falters.

the whole key for Wise is throwing the heater for strikes. If he can't set up the change, then he's in for a tough one
