edit: As for the code RoCo, You should just be able paste it between the code brackets and have it look nice. One caveat, there can't be any tabs, it has to be all spaces. That's tripped me up a few times.

No Helms or Podsednik I like, but where's Grieve? Is he the 5th OF now? Replace Magruder with Grieve, and that should be our everyday lineup, at least until Ginter comes back. Also, I'd prefer Jenkins and Overbay flip flopped.

Yeah, I loathe more and more the fact that Jenkins is 3 and O 5. It just makes NO sense whatsoever. None. Zero.

edit: And yes, Magruder over Grieve is ABSURD

At this point, might as well play McGruder. He could be here next year where Grieve will be gone.

That would be the funniest joke...ever.

Good job by Counsell leading off. Bad Job by Hall to GIDP. Good line-up by Yost, but I too would like Greive in the line-up. By the way, it's Hoffman time in Chicago!

It would have been nice if Pods was benched in, lets say...June?

I'm amazed how relatively pleasant it is to listen to these guys compared to Caray/Stone. Chips voice is so grating...

Grieve: sore calf muscle.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

Oh wow. Thank you Estrada. That was a horrible try.

edit: meaning O never should have tried to score. Out by 10 feet.

Pods gets 2 hits and sits the next day against a semi-shaky right hander. He must really be in the dog house. Unfortunately I don't think this team will stand a chance of getting to .500 without a productive pods in the leadoff spot so I sure hope Ned gives him a 2nd chance.

After his boneheaded play to end the game last night, he deserves a day off.

What happened on that play? I turned the game off after the 8th and have been hearing about it a lot on the forums.

One out, Pods is on 2nd, they're down 7. A lazy fly ball to center, and Pods just starts running, and gets easily doubled off. I know they were down 7, and the outcome was really not in doubt, but there's no excuse for just giving up.

That's not good at all. Seems like he's really being hard on himself for his slump offensively and letting it affect his play all around. Hopefully he snaps out of it soon!
