As crazy as it sounds, I really enjoy it when you guys go all ballistic when things REALLY turn to [bLEEP].

 

I agree. there has to be some philosophy the communal internet venting is the key to world peace.

Nope. With all the blown leads over the past couple weeks, it's completely justifiable. If you don't like it, you should probably stay out of the in-game threads.

Its the 3rd inning? I was just making a point that many people on this board seem to freak out at the first sign of trouble... The Brewers are in the middle of a pennant race no? They must be doing something right?

 

Get real - they may only be down 2 runs, but you have to admit the pitching has been so awful thus far that it's easy to at least vent a little bit! I agree that they could still easily win this game, but it's just natural to be sick with the pitching thus far.

I agree the pitching is awful, but so are the Giants... so this game is FAR from over... also the Brewers offense has really been clicking so to think they don't have a chance just seems short sighted... (I'm not trying to start anything)

Not any time recently. My point is that for the past few months, the first sign of trouble has routinely resulted in blown leads and tough losses. Can't really fault people for thinking "here we go again" when it has, in fact, been happening so often. And anyway, again, if you don't like knee-jerk reaction posts, stay out of the in-game thread. Quick, emotional responses are pretty common (and sort of the point) of these threads, so it doesn't make much sense for you to be in here if you don't like that kind of stuff.

Hey this is sort of off topic but does anyone think some of the problems Bonds has with his knees have to do with the weather in SF... I know when the weather around here sucks my joints ache more than usual. Just a thought...

Where did anybody say they didn't have a chance? If that's what you think people are saying, no wonder you're upset. I think you invented that idea all on your own though.

Only down 3 runs...no big deal. Nevermind that our pitchers have given up 9 runs in 3+ innings. That's just seeing the glass as half empty, you pessimist. Stop freaking out! The Brewers have given us every reason to believe they will probably win this game.
