Suddenly, we all become Marlins and Giants fans. The Marlins could obviously help the Brewers by beating the Cubs, and the Giants could keep winning against the Padres, who are now 3 games behind front-running Arizona, and tied for the WC lead. If SF sweeps San Diego, we could have an interesting scenario for Thursday-Sunday. Doesn't matter if the Brewers don't win. Go Brew!

boy, Dontrelle really has not been very good this year--except to left-handers.

 

Remember when he shut us down back in May (or whenever it was)? Let's hope he can finish the season strong tonight and give himself something to be proud of during the off-season.

Marlins swept Cubs back in May without Henly Ramirez who kills lefties. They tatooed Lilly. He gave up 2 HR to Uggla and 1 to Cabrera. Both Ramirez and Cabrera have slugging percentages over .700 against lefties.

 

Marquis who starts Wednesday also got beat up by the Marlins.

The first inning of this game will be huge. Maybe even the first pitch. If Soriano jacks the first pitch out into the bleachers: that may be the fork that is stuck in the Brewers
