Ugh, this is only going to make this division loss more painful. The Cubs are doing EXACTLY what we needed them to do and the Brewers couldn't win last night. Come on, Marlins and Reds, steamroll the Cubs. Let's play some baseball on Monday!

I refuse to get excited about the prospects of tying/winning the division until the Brewers are within a game of the Cubs with at least 2 games left on the schedule...if the Marlins pull this one out and the Crew bounces back tonight with a 'W', color me excited again

boy-o-boy - as if that game last night didn't seem big enough of a loss, seems even bigger now.

Also, pitching matchups won't get any easier for the Cubs in Cincy - Arroyo, Harang, and hopefully a Homer Bailey with a little command!

No matter what happens today, the Cubs aren't sweeping Cincy - the Brewers have to find a way to win tonight to keep the pressure on.

Really, it's the 2 in Atlanta that are going to hurt the most. We should have won at least 1.

I agree - at this point in the season, the same can be said for about 15-20 other games, too (unfortunately)

Capuano bobblehead day is what sticks out in my mind most. At home, 5 run lead in the 9th inning. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/sick.gif

If the Marlins hold on for the W, that has to hurt the Cubs knowing they face Arroyo and Harang the next two days.

And if that call did go against the Cubs, which I don't know if it did or not, it is about time. LOL

1997, check

2003, check

good thing there is a window for us to win the WS in 2007 and/or 2008, because 2009 is the Marlin's perfected business/baseball model year again.

I take solace in the fact this isn't in a Brewers IGT for once. http://static.yuku.com//domainskins/bypass/img/smileys/laugh.gif
