CD's you own, and you cry "Dear God why?!?" When you see it still in your collection.

I shutter just thinking about it but it would be La Bouche - Sweet Dreams

I saved up 4 weeks worth of allowance in sixth grade just to get this album http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif

I actually have 2 (yes, two!) John Tesh albums!

One is his sports anthem album, so that's semi-understandable.

The other is his Live at Red Rocks album, which I bought only because the Orioles kept playing one of his songs when Cal Ripken was near to/was breaking the Lou Gehrig record.

Dead Eye Dick is a CD that I am ashamed to own. Not cool anymore...

I've quite a few bad CDs but the worst one has to be the one hit barbie doll duo from UK known as Shampoo, Their album name was dumb and so most of their songs, it was a mistake the moment I bought and I have no excuse for it.

Embarrassing CDs?

Trade 'em away and get something you want. I've made over 200 trades and scored some real collection builders and dumped some bad decisions.

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

I can only hope they didn't see it. Last thing I need is them singing to me on the bases.
Ohhh hohohhh, you'd better believe we saw that post. Now, just to figure out who you are when you are running the bases. We'll just have to sing to everyone!

I don't know how it happened, but I've got - in my possession - a Wilson Phillips CD.

...I bet you just busted into 'Hold On'

And as for Toto, Africa is currently my ringtone as sure as Kilimanjaro rises like Olympus above the Serengeti.

I just remembered two CD's I bought because I was into ABBA at the time lol

A-Teens The ABBA Generation & Teen Spirit

I also own some ABBA but I like them and do not go Dear God Why when I see the CD's. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Uh - oh, you're in trouble...

Secret Machines - I was so excited to get this CD but sadly it sucked like a Ben Hendrickson fastball.

Which album? If you say 10 Silver Drops then you officially just lost at being on the internetz

i think the worse cd in my collection is hinder. Only like one song, and got it for a Christmas present. I have had some bad ones over the years as my musical tastes have changed, but those have long gone to the used cd store.

Yeah, I know what Hinder song you mean too. My buddy gave it to me to listen to at work and I thought it was wretched except for one tune. It's the one straight up 80s style hard rock song, not the rest that sound like some 3rd rate Nickelback rehash.

A few weeks after I listened to it I was reading an article in Rolling Stone and I'm thinking "Hinder? Who the hell are these clowns?" Except I was pronouncing it "highn-der" like a person's butt. And then like two hours later I remembered oh yeah, it's "Hinder" that awful band on the CD that Mike lent me.

I have this buddy who HAD a Clay Walker CD. We would give him so much grief about having it in his collection. He hated having it so much, we put it in his CD player one day while in his basement. He was so mad, he took it out and broke it. I just thought I'd share that since he is probably gonna read this.

Oh man, Clay Walker's debut is fantastic. I'm not a huge fan of "country radio" ballads but there are some excellent ones on here. My first dance wedding song was "Next Step in Love." But then again my divorce will be final in February so who knows, you may be on to something.

I have a couple Little River Band cds, Sleeper Catcher and First Under The Wire. I sure get a lot of grief from friends about those two, but I just can't part with them.

Also Chuck E. Weiss - Extremely Cool. I love Tom Waits and I know their buds and Rickie Lee Jones wrote a song about him, but that's a pretty bad cd.

Although "Do You Know What I Idi Amin" is extremely cool.

Chuckie's in Love by Ricki Lee Jones is a song I have fond memories of as a kid...
