Link Report Goodbye for 2006

Thank you, everyone, for following the Brewer kids via the Link Reports for another season.

We are humbled by the fact that on average, well over 1000 diehard Brewer fans choose to review the Report each and every day.

As an aside, I'll note that in July, even if the wild card race was a sea of mediocrity, Brewerfan itself saw an average of 3945 unique visitors each day, an all-time monthly record. Down to 3136 in August, and all the way down to 2192 thus far in September. Visitor volume is all about the parent Brewers winning, there's no doubt about that.

My thanks to Brad (pogokat) for his help this summer -- unlike each affiliate, the Link Report never takes a day off from late in spring training until the final game of the minor league post-season. Because of that, I will be wiser in the future about pulling in additional resources, and Brian and I will look into ways we can automate things a bit more.

Thanks again, everyone, for reading. Like with the recent thread on Brewer minor league free agents, I have lots of thread ideas planned now that Link Report season is over. So keep on visiting until we officially Link again next April.

Thanks again and as always for your hard work and dedication Jim. I know pulling all of these resources together every day is no easy task, so a tip of the cap to you my friend.

And to pogo as well for giving you some much needed breathers...

Great job, Jim. This was a really memorable season in the minors, and thanks to the Link Report, it's extremely easy to follow what happens.

Thanks.

Thanks for all your hard work guys, it's fun to read about the minors day in and day out and you guys have the best coverage of anyone. 2007 minor league baseball can't start soon enough for me. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Thanks Mass. I really really appreciate the effort you put into making all of us more knowledgeable Brewer fans. The Link Report is what keeps me coming back day after day and is one of the coolest features of this website.

Thanks for your efforts, MH. I've found myself paying more and more attention to the Brewers minor league affiliates, especially when the progress of the minor league system is compared to the struggles of the parent club. Thanks for helping me to become a better Brewers fan.

Thanks, again boys! First thing I do each morning is check the link report box scores. I appreciate the hard work!
