Aoki really didn't look that quick on that triple, to be honest. Yes he made it easily.. but I think for the 'fast' players that's a standup triple.
-
Oh no, the dreaded 'runner on third nobody out' situation.
-
Marcum already shaking his head and muttering expletives while he's warming up.. can't wait to see what happens tonight.
-
There was Rickie's hanger to hit.
-
I saw that double play coming a mile and a half away. ...sigh
-
Nice job by Gomez to stay on the base there.
-
That woman that keeps screaming is really, really annoying.
-
Good thing Randy Wolf has his personal catcher in the game tonight, it really seems to be helping out thus far.
-
Well.. the garage I was going to do my work in is closing at 1 today.. so couldn't even get started. Bittersweet to watch the Brewers again.
-
Working on my car today.. almost bummed that I'll miss Marquis shut down the Brewer bats.
-
About time Aramis!
-
I have honestly never seen a player struggle to the point that Rickie Weeks is this year. I know Pujols is struggling but I don't watch him nearly every day.
-
"Carl Pavano has been around a while. He's been very durable." - More wisdom from the mouth of Bill. I really don't think Bill is too bad as a color guy, but dang.. when you're really paying attention you catch some ridiculous stuff.
-
Do you suppose he's trying to show up the world by deliberately making bad calls? "I'll show YOU bad umpiring!" Haha, maybe! I think he wants everyone to know who's in charge when he's behind the plate.
-
It was a pretty awful strike call. Pavano threw one in the same spot - to his credit - and Braun had to swing. Not sure what Corey was doing in that situation but it's whatever.
-
Bob Davidson is easily my least favorite ump in MLB. He's usually good for one ejection a game.. already making bad calls, too.
-
She loves Jeeeesus...and America too..
-
Sometimes.. all you can do is laugh.
-
They're giving him as many chances as possible before they send him packing somewhere. I don't really mind him in that situation. I sort of feel bad for the guy at this point.
-
This has been a stupid bottom half of the inning. Seriously.
-
How can the Brewers NOT score here? Wouldn't surprise me to see it happen.
-
Nice catch, Nori.. don't ever.... do it again. *Edit - Marco might not give up a ton of runs in some of his starts.. but opposing players hit the ball really hard off of him.
-
"The good news is JA Happ is out of the game!" - Do you really think it matters, Bill?
-
Nice work, Brooks.
-
Good grief. "He hasn't made any mistakes with that fastball tonight." - Yes he has, the Brewers just have not hit them.
