    Blister? I'm not exactly sure how the this kind of wet weather would affect your skin when pitching. I know when it's cold you can get blisters, or is it when it's real humid. What I'm basically saying is that I have no idea what is wrong with Psycho.

    Maybe to get a look at the pitches. Is it just me or does Zambrano routinely get that low strike call?

    Wow, where did some of those pitches miss? Does Fukudome have some like bionic eye that he can detect balls and strikes before they're even called that he was able to lay off those? Sheesh.

    That's the wonderful thing about Cub fans at Wrigley. If a Cub hits a pop-up to short, it's going to be a homerun in some people's eyes when it leaves the bat. Any every pitch thrown by a Cubs pitcher is a strike.

    Please, please, please get the game in (and on time pretty please) so that I can watch it. I can't afford to stay up all night watching this, being 8 hours ahead I figured I was safe to watch opening day. Now I'm not so sure, it might be cry time.

    It's a perfect example to why many around here hate ESPN, not the main reason but one of them for sure. I could careless about their predictions, let them pick the Cubs. If it doesn't happen it will be all that much sweeter.

    I bet Gallardo could, but if he actually will is up in the air - obviously. I'd say he's the most likely candidate though, Bush is a pretty good hitter so he's probably #2 most likely. I still can't believe Cappy hit a HR, to the opposite field nonetheless.

    I'm going to vent about JJ's defense. It cost the Brewers today and a few times this season. Before he came up and into his rookie season all I heard about was how he was a phenomenal defense shortstop. This season he's looked pretty bad, what gives? Is he really not as good as was expected, bad year, or what. He's pretty sure handed on the easy plays, but he should be - he's a Major Leaguer for Pete's sake. When he has to move around it seems like he has all kinds of troubles, and maybe it's just magnified because when he does make errors they're usually key points during the game. Or maybe it's magnified because he's hitting like crap again.
