  1. Those are two terrible strike calls to Frelick.
  2. You gotta love that moving strike zone by Hernandez. Forcing players to swing at garbage pitches. Bum.
  3. Good to get at least one back but would prefer to see Hoskins come up with a 2-out hit with RISP. Feels like it's been a while.
  4. Padres really have gotten every break so far.
  5. Interesting last night in that the Brewer's offense still had pretty good at bats just with nothing to show. The Padres seemed to be the lucky ones. Nothing in depth, other than sometimes that's just baseball. We'll see if they can come up with a few big hits tonight.
  6. I don't recall seeing so many bloop hits by one team. Brewers also not helping themselves.
  7. At least they made Musgrove work a bit but I was getting a little greedy there.
  8. Ortiz had a great at bat, the result wasn't there but he made Burnes work. There were a number of at bats like that today. My frustration was probably more than it should have been with Wiemer. Burnes is a tough matchup in his first MLB action in 2024. The team isn't always going to convert with RISP under 2 outs. As long as at bats are competitive I'm usually satisfied. I didn't think Wiemer was overly competitive but I'll give him some credit he made Burnes throw a few more pitches.
  9. Kind of feels like one of those games the Brewers should win but just can't come up with the hit to bring in the load of runners they're getting.
  10. Eh, Willy, not sure any of those were strikes. Oh well.
  11. Blah, hittable pitch and Ortiz pops it up. Dangit.
  12. I hope the Brewers hold Holliday hitless this series.
  13. I'd be hesitant to move Contreras and Yelich around at all as they seemed to have found grooves and the offense is scoring runs. I know it may not be a big deal and I said it in another thread, but maybe there's something to plugging an individual into a spot in the lineup and just leaving them there.
  14. No kidding. I feel like the first 11 games of the season are vindication for years of futility of hitting with RISP for the Brewers.
  15. Still can't get the game to load on Bally. Oh well. Maybe some other time.
  16. None of the apps or website are loading the game. This is not a new phenomena.
  17. Bally Sports continues to be a dumpster fire.
