    I don't like the trade. Not because of the players they gave up, but for the fact that Linebrink just isn't very good. To justify the trade, they are going to run him out all the time though.

    I know it's the pitcher's responsibility to give the catchers a chance to throw guys out but Estrada's arm/release really leave something to be desired. If this team makes the playoffs, my fear is that some of the better running teams (Mets, Dodgers, etc.) will be able to exploit this weakness big time. If you let walks turn into doubles time and time again, you will end up getting burned.

    Artie is hilarious on the Stern show. That said, in my opinion, his standup and his acting leave something to be desired. Norm is awesome. His monologue when he hosted the ESPY's was one of the funniest things that I've ever seen. He actually made the ESPY's watchable, and that is no small task.

    Let him rot if he doesn't want to play here. He'd be nuts to sit out a year, look at what happened to Mike Williams. If he sits out, he'll probably drop like a rock in next years draft. Personally, I think that he's going to be a disappointment anyway, and I'm really tired of everyone trying to kiss his rear. If he's too scared to play, let the xenophobe sit.

    Don't see the resemblance to Yost, but after seeing the commercial, I have commented on the fact that Jarvik looks fairly sleezy for a guy who invented the artificial heart.

    Gotta say I found K.C. to be very boring when I was there for a couple of days a few years back. Everything that is, except a Chiefs game at Arrowhead that was awesome. We stayed in downtown K.C. and it was tough to find any club that had more than a few people in it. We also went to some area (may have been one of those mentioned above) that was supposed to be a happening place, but it was completely dead. When I see Milwaukee ranked as the smallest market in baseball, I find it hard to believe they are below K.C.. I know it's a small sample, but Milwaukee seems like a much more 'happening place' than K.C.. especially the downtown area. My guess is the city must be really spread out.

    Man. At first, I didn't think they could make a worse choice than Mario Lopez....Then I didn't think they could get anyone more annoying than Rosie O'Donnell, but they've actually done it. Now they are to the point where the only worse option would be Keith Olberman. Just cancel the show already. No one can fill Barker's shoes.

    If I want lime, I'll have a seven up, or a seven up mixed with booze. Why do they always have to put lime in things where it doesn't belong? Do people like lime that much? Lime coke was one of the nastiest concoctions I ever tasted- opened one by mistake at work. Do they still make that swill?

    I remember when TNT still had the NFL games and he was a studio analyst. He was so bad, it was criminal.

    Gotta hand it to these guys, they are great hitting with two outs and nobody on! Too bad they are terrible with two outs and guys on base. Or none or one outs with guys on base for that matter.

    This changes things a little. I guess you have three choices in this situation. What you did (warn the guy), "rat him out" to the meter maids, or ignore (and therefore not do your job). Since you want to perform up to expectations at your job, the last choice would probably be out. I guess if you have a good relationship with the party, you would choose the first option. That doesn't seem to be the case here, the guy sounds like a major league tool to me... therefore the second choice would be a good one to teach him a lesson. I guess if you wanted to be really nice to the guy, you could tell him that someone with a h/c tag complained to you in the lot....this way you don't look like the bad guy and thusly avoid conflict.

    If your job description does not include "parking enforcement", I don't know why you took this upon yourself without expecting some sort of conflict. Right or wrong, people don't like to be told what to do. If it bothered you that much, you should have just ratted him out to the cops. A ticket/fine would pretty much ensure that he won't do this again. If you didn't call the cops, my money says the first person with a h/c tag that noticed this would. They're quite observant about that kind of thing.

    Come on...the wacky weather guy from the local morning show isn't a big enough draw? OK, even if that is the case, the Executive Assistant from the Wisconsin DWD should bring them out in droves...
