  1. Made a run, but it didn't fade away, either.
  2. oh, forgot the game started already. Looks like I only missed out on me getting angry.
  3. Adams is just as likely to catch 100 passes with Rodgers as with Love or whoever the QB is. If anything he catches more with Love than with a QB who is capable of running 5-WR sets. Only thing Adams loses if Rodgers is gone is being on a for-sure SB contending team. But how many of those teams exist as well as have the ability to make him the highest-paid WR? Every reason for Rodgers to think if he complained he'd get his way. And he may still get it. LeBron has been the defacto GM of every team he's been on and I'd venture to guess whatever Giannis would have attached to "I'll only sign an extension if ____" that he'd have gotten it.
  4. I've done men's groups through church as well as singles groups and I can't recommend them enough--really great way to make friends. And !definitely! better than defaulting to the bar. I've only been thinking of alternatives to those because only being able to attend once or twice per month just doesn't cut it. Hence the country club with attached social events/meetings where maybe the same people are there even if I can only be there random times. $4000-$4500/year on my mini-golf salary isn't great, though. The only other one around with social stuff is closed Mon/Tues, and those are my usual days off.
  5. CheezWiz, I gave some thought to your first post and I think it's not specifically the activities of tennis and church that I miss so much as it is that sense of belonging and community and being a regular part of something. And being single just exacerbates those feelings. So to that end I have a membership interview with a private golf club today. I think it might be a happy medium where I can still show up at irregular times even if it's just to hang out for an hour but still maybe get to know some people socially. We're all praying for you, Zad.
  6. My heart hurts. The last two games they absolutely couldn't lose and they pulled them out. Suddenly it's a three-game series despite most folks thinking the Bucks were toast. Whatever they're doing, hopefully it carries on into Phoenix. Seemed like the Bucks were down 9 most all of the game and it's just hard to figure how they managed to pull this one out. Holy man that was one heck of a great basketball game. Just when you see Giannis isn't going to hit 40 and they talk about how tired he is, he still manages to make plays that absolutely change the direction of the ballgame. He's one heck of a special player.
  7. Anytime Middleton doesn't show up it's only because he's being used wrong. He's a legit #2.
  8. And they hit their usual ton of mid range shots this game, too.
  9. Giannis with two cinematic blocks already this series.
  10. What's nuts is I can't totally figure what adjustments Budenholzer has made to make these changes. Other than playing Paul to his right hand.
  11. Wow one heck of a game. Can't believe we pulled that off.
  12. It's rare that I understand how Middleton makes his shot.
  13. Well when the NBA rewards flopping...
  14. I'd be fine with Middleton taking every shot the rest of the way.
  15. Giannis or an open three. Nothing else.
