  1. Yes, get Booker out of the game. Please!
  2. I don't want to watch the next Space Jam.
  3. Dang they're just hitting everything again.
  4. What is your priority? Rarely does someone at the end of their life wish they had worked more. I'm leaning heavily toward joining a private golf club largely for the hopeful social connections, even though $250/mo ain't cheap for me. But it's somewhere I could go on whatever day I have off, even if it's just to hang out. Ultimately I'm probably stuck at my job. I pay $100/mo rent through work, and adding that benefit into my pay, I won't be finding a similar salary to make up for that elsewhere.
  5. Like that they're playing Paul more like they defend Harden and shading heavily for him to go right.
  6. This all reads more like a Suns board.
  7. How about Middleton get aggressive in place of Holiday?
  8. I haven't really even noticed Lopez yet.
  9. Inside points in the first half means open 3s in the second!
  10. Bud doesn't make in-game adjustments but I've been happy with what he's been able to do from game to game. It was the same thing in Game 1 against Atlanta when Trey Young torched us, but the adjustments Budenholzer made after that were terrific and really stopped him (as much as possible, anyway). Sure nothing worked against Durant, but it's Durant. Lopez was I think a -17. And he's not a poor defensive player. So I'm expecting a pretty drastic change in defenses tonight with a lot of Giannis at the 5. But what's up with Budenholzer being 0-4 in Game 1s? Is 2-2 really too much to expect from a team that's good enough to make the Finals?
  11. Thanks. That gave me a lot to think about. I may have someone I can discuss this with, too. Really appreciate it.
  12. My brother has a truckload of baseball card commons that I'd bet he'd be willing to give away. Mostly late 80s and early 90s players you've never heard of. If your student would be up for those I think I can make that work.
  13. I'm getting more and more tired of working so many nights and weekends because it means I can't do any extra-curricular stuff like church and sports leagues on any regular basis.
  14. I'm counting on the Bucks being able to mitigate their pick and roll at least a little bit more, as well as stopping their guards from being able to dribble wherever they want inside the 3-point line. That alone accounted for a lot of points. It looked like Bud was trying to better-defend their pick and roll every time he brought Forbes in. Bad calls aside, the Bucks also took a lot of jumpshots and didn't drive to the basket near as much as they usually do. That accounts for a lot of potential foul calls, too.
  15. Nah, you're wrong all due respect. We're fine. Couple of adjustments and a few more made baskets and that's a win. They really didn't see the Bucks at their best by a mile. We can draw more fouls than we did, we can stop them from dribbling anywhere, and Lopez will be more visible from now on. Consider the huge change from game 1 against the Hawks to game 2.
  16. Showed we can dominate in some lineups, missed some easy shots and ultimately lost a road game. And we'll be the ones making the adjustments for next game. And we're still only one game short of going 1-1 on the road, which we all would be happy with. This is definitely not a "we're gonna get killed in this series" game at all. Just a loss. We're fine.
  17. There we go! I wanna read some "how the heck did we lose that?" Headlines in Phoenix tomorrow.
  18. Giannis at the 5 is the best lineup they run.
  19. They're forgetting what worked against Trae Young though they also have to do it against two guys now.
  20. The Bucks are doing the switching, that's their choice not Phoenix. He meant Phoenix is a big pick-n-roll offense, which forces the switch. If not, they love the intermediate open 2pt shots. Pick your poison. Yep. Phoenix second-best in the playoffs at mid-range shot percentage. Bucks second-worst at defending against it.
  21. Wonder if we'll see Portia sub in for Lopez sometimes. Could still play the 5 but a quicker player.
