  1. The Bucks certainly aren't putting Lopez on them on purpose. Phoenix is one of the heaviest switching teams in the League. Lopez has been doing fairly well at it so far.
  2. So far better than we usually play in Game 1.
  3. They haven't seen full-force Middleton yet! Hopefully we will, too.
  4. Everyone forcing it like they gotta do it themselves.
  5. Loved connoughton moving under the basket since they were all hyper focused on Giannis.
  6. I figured if he's sore or otherwise limited, you go part time to see how he does. Apparently he's not sore and that's amazing he can come back so quickly.
  7. I was thinking if Giannis plays, maybe he's best off for a couple games to focus more on defense and being the role player to grab offensive boards, rather than immediately going straight back to being the entire offensive focus. I don't know what to think of Jrue for this series. He's been a different animal once he upped his offensive aggression. A lot is being made of the Suns' mid-range game. Bucks give up the second-worse percentage and the Suns make the second-best percentage. You could see it against Atlanta those were the shots the Bucks were happy enough to cede. But the Suns also haven't seen any playoff opponents who contest three-point shots at the high rate the Bucks do. The Suns really strike me as a beefed-up version of Atlanta plus a better defensive Center. But if Giannis is out there just tying up Ayton, who does Phoenix really have to handle Lopez/Portis?
  8. Don't remember his name, but wasn't there a center who only signed one-year contracts so that he could "hold out" for most of Camp specifically because he hated it?
  9. When you get it be sure to fire it up without food first to burn off the manufacturing grease.
  10. I don't see Portis playing so much in this series, either, since it seems like it's either him or Tucker on the floor but not both, and there's more of a need for Tucker out there. Phoenix is hitting 37% of their 3s this playoffs. Bucks don't tend to adjust well when other teams are hitting those shots (or more accurately, refuse to adjust). Big difference between that and Atlanta's 25%. Although the Bucks have been second-best in the playoffs at contesting those shots, so hopefully that means the Suns won't hit that shot as well in this series.
  11. Bostic isn't in the building, right?
  12. I'm having trouble holding my breath this long.
  13. That's a really great point and I couldn't agree more. All the complaints he's taken as well as all the evidence we're all wrong will all be present in Game 5, and all cranked up to 11.
  14. I didn't realize it was a day game and so didn't turn on my radio. But to be fair, even if I had remembered, I probably wouldn't have listened past 4-0 in the 1st. But heck, that's how I became a Brewers fan in the first place, listening to all those games during the putrid years. It wasn't so much for the baseball but because Uecker would start in telling stories since he knew nobody cared about the game anymore. "So I started off doing this, oh and by the way the Brewers just hit into a double play, so anyway here's how it happened...."
  15. Division I would do better to cut its total teams down to something like 40. No more Buffaloes by concentrating the top talent which would also mean not as many creampuff regular-season games. Maybe they could also add in a British-soccer-style system where a few teams move in and out of 1a and 1b. Would ruin Divisions, but in a bigger playoff system would those matter anymore, anyway? I used to be against the idea of paying players, but the more the NCAA shows it's all about the money, the more inclined I am to feel that the players should get a piece of the pie, too.
  16. This team tends to act as if Giannis will do everything. Maybe having him out will be the kick in the pants they need to take a couple games. Seems like we still match up pretty well.
  17. If the playoffs were expanded, wouldn't that just increase the chances that teams would look to have cupcake out-of-conference opponents? It appears to me a win against a bad team is worth more than a close loss to a good team. We need fewer Wisconsin-Buffalo games, not more.
  18. Giannis also has five years left. It would probably be a stretch to think that if he hated the changes that he would immediately demand to get out. After all he loved Kidd but still re-signed. If the team was indeed better two years down the road, winning has a way of healing all wounds. But I'm still just waiting to hear back that while it looked ugly it turns out it really wasn't that bad, it all just popped back into place and he'll be ready to go for Game 5. Right? Right? It's only a knee to a 7-footer who jumps for a living, so not a big deal!
  19. Maybe that's where you trade Middleton for James Wiseman. San Francisco has made him available and he'll probably be pretty good after another year of seasoning.
  20. Boy are you right! I think I've focused on diet more because it's the easier solution (for me, anyway) than working out every day. And heck, I'm not even working out all that hard. Apparently it's more just the act of it that's been enough for me. Scale just said 214, too! I still prefer lifting weights to cardio, though, but lifting weights wasn't doing it at all.
  21. Don't we swap picks next year?
  22. Cruel fate that Giannis goes and Bud stays.
  23. They're just playing so lazy. They bought the "gonna win" stuff and are taking it for granted.
  24. Giannis better off doing a jump shot FT.
